In a forest-based context, bio-economy involves using forest resources to create sustainable and environmentally friendly products and services. The forest industry in the province hopes to create an innovative sector in ways that increase skilled jobs and build relationships with a broad range of residents, firms, and businesses. Newfoundland and Labrador's managed forests offer great potential to develop a dynamic and sustainable bioeceonomy in the province. To develop that potential in your region, we need your engagement and ideas.
