Who is behind this process?
The Newfoundland and Labrador Forest Industry Association (NLFIA) is spearheading this study and engagement process with funding provided by the Newfoundland and Labrador Workforce Innovation Centre through the Department of Immigration, Skills and Labour (AESL) under the Canada-Newfoundland and Labrador Labour Market Development Agreement.
Researchers at Grenfell Campus and St. John's Campus of Memorial University will conduct the research component of the study and The Harris Centre will conduct the public engagement component of the study. The principle proponent of this project is Mr. Bill Dawson, the executive director of the NLFIA.
